FREE Curbside Pick-Up of your recycables is now being offered to all of Greene County!

Ranard's Hauling, Removal & Recycling is offering free weekly curbside recycling pick-up to all of Greene County. Our mission is to get everyone in Greene County recycling at home and at work. We have developed a service that should help us with that goal. This will be a "no sort" program, so you will put all recycling items into one bag. All plastics/cans must be empty, rinsed and dry before being placed in the bag, please place newspapers/paper on top of the recycling items and tie the bag.

Once a week, we will come to your home, office or business and pick up all recycling items that we accept (please see list of accepted and not accepted items). We will only pick-up recycling items on a weekly basis, from those that have signed up for the service with us and have recycling items that are in our designated bags. Larger accepted items, such as appliances, metal, etc....can be placed next to this bag for pick-up at the same time. If you have a larger item that needs picked-up and you are not on the weekly bag pick-up service, please call us and we will schedule a time to come and pick-up your item/items on an as needed basis. Also, as a courtesy, if you are elderly/handicap we will pick-up your recycable bag at your door.

There is NO charge for the pick-up service. We do charge for the bags, $1.00 per bag, which covers the cost of the recycling bag and getting those bags to you. Each bag is a 55-gallon clear bag. We are requiring customers to use our recycling bags, because we want to make certain the items we are picking up are recycables only, not trash. We plan to implement a "charity program" in a few months and our specific recycling bags will be necessary to do this. We will sell these bags by the roll, 10 bags on each roll, and deliver them to you as requested. If you would like to purchase more than 1 roll at a time, you may get as many rolls as you like - each roll is $10.00. We do have a requirement that ALL plastic bottles/containers and cans/lids have to be rinsed out and dry before placing them in the bag (no need to remove labels), all paper items must be placed inside the bag on top of all other recycling items before the bag is tied and place curbside.

Once we have your information and your payment for your first roll of bags, we will order them and deliver them to you when they arrive. Your pick-up service will begin the week after your bags are delivered to you.

We have a re-order form on our website, or you may print the form and mail it to us for more bags as needed.

Our Service Area

We will service ALL of Greene County with our pick-up service. We have split Greene County into 4 sections. Dividing lines are: 231 N&S/157 N&S and 54 E/W. These 4 quadrants will each have a different pick-up day. This could change as needed.

Quad 1 - Wednesday, Quad 2 - Thursday, Quad 3 - Monday, Quad 4 - Tuesday

Holiday Schedules

Should your pick-up day fall on a holiday we will skip your pick-up for that week. We do not run the routes between Christmas and New Years. Please call if you have any questions. At this time we will not be running on Saturdays, unless a specially arranged pick-up is needed.
